Founded in 2025, Marajó Discovery Turismo may be a new presence in the travel industry, but it's built upon over 25 years of rich, international experience. Our founder, Charlotte, has dedicated her life to hospitality, working in prestigious five-star restaurants and hotels across England, France, Australia, and Switzerland. These global experiences have instilled in her a deep understanding of diverse cultures and the nuances of exceptional service.
In 2023, Charlotte's journey brought her to the enchanting Marajó Island, where she embraced a new role as a tour guide. Fluent in English and French, she has been sharing the island's unique beauty and culture with both international visitors and Brazilian travelers. Her trasition from global hospitality to local guiding reflects a commitment to providing authentic, immersive experiences that connect travelers with the heart of their destinations.
